Onboarding
Onboard a new business
Collect the right details, create the business, and agree what happens next.
Prepare before you start
Good preparation makes onboarding quicker and reduces corrections later. Search Businesses first so you do not create a duplicate.
Have the correct business name, business type, operating address, owner contact details, and main working preferences ready. If the business began as a lead, start onboarding from that lead.
Complete the onboarding steps
Open Businesses, then tap Onboard business. Work through Basics, Location, Owner, Settings, and Review with the merchant.
Use the real owner contact details and let the owner confirm important choices. At Review, read everything back before you create the business.
- Basics: confirm the business name and what it sells
- Location: enter the real operating address
- Owner: use the responsible merchant's details
- Settings: choose practical operating defaults
- Review: correct mistakes before submitting
Agree the next step
Creating the business is the start, not the finish. The merchant still needs a complete profile, a useful catalogue, payment setup where available, and confidence with their first order or booking.
Create a follow-up task before you leave. Agree who will do the next action and when you will check it.
