Set up the merchant's team safely

The right role lets a team member do their job without exposing areas they do not need. Available roles include Owner, Admin, Member, Viewer, Sales, and Finance.

In Ordafy Business, open People, then Team. Ask the owner to match each role to the person's real responsibilities.

Invite each team member to use their own account. Shared owner sign-ins make it hard to know who changed something and put the business at risk.

Review pending invitations and remove access when someone leaves or changes duties. Keep Owner access for the people who are truly responsible for the business.

If the business uses a POS security PIN, share it only with authorised staff. Do not write it on the till or put it in public team notes.

A PIN adds protection, but it does not replace individual accounts, correct roles, or regular access checks.
